Clement & W ynn was responsible for the Program Management on the development of this $8.3 million, 64,000 SF worship, education, administration and fellowship complex located on 28 acres in Dekalb County, Georgia. This new development includes:

     > 1,200 Seat Sanctuary
     > Christian Education Center
     > Administrative Offices
     > 500 Seat Fellowship Hall
     > Recreation and Health Center
     > Nursery
     > Church Administration
     > Shared Meeting, Training & Classrooms

The exterior of the building is constructed in a traditional, all brick facade. The steel structure, which is expressed on the interior of the building, rises nearly 50 feet in the center of the sanctuary, resulting in a breathtaking view of the ceiling. There are many interior appointments that express the exceptional quality of the space: The sanctuary is outfitted with full audio/visual capabilities, and the pews are constructed from solid cherry wood with a rich, complimentary cherry stain and cushioned, fabric seating.

The project team was challenged with a large requirement to value-engineer the project to a more acceptable cost, and they were able to bring the project in successfully without reducing the building’s overall quality and image.
